SafeNet to host charity fundraising ball for vital funds

SafeNet are hosting a charity fundraising ball to raise vital funds for services for domestic abuse survivors across the North West.

SafeNet will be raising funds for a new sensory area within a children’s playroom at their Preston Refuge, hoping to invest in equipment such as fibre optics, projections and play shapes to transform the area into a calm and safe space for children dealing with trauma and special educational needs.

The Charity Fundraising Autumn Ball will take place at Ribby Hall, Kirkham, at 6:30 pm on 28th October 2023. Auction prizes will be available on the night and a ‘pop up shop’ selling discounted luxury spa products.

Guest speakers Dani Wallace and Lejla Duati, Founder of ‘Lejla, Please Tell My Story’ will be present to raise awareness for domestic abuse survivors.

For those who attend, you will be able to enjoy a 3-course meal with vegan, halal, and non-alcoholic options available. The meal is included with a ticket to the event and food choices can be made through the booking form.

Alex Atkinson, Head of SafeNet Support Services said: “We’re really excited to be hosting a Charity Ball which we hope will be one of our biggest fundraising events of the year. It will be a fun evening with an excellent line up of entertainment to raise awareness of SafeNet and the domestic abuse services we offer in Lancashire and Greater Manchester. We’re hoping local businesses and groups of friends will come along and enjoy a fabulous evening with us.”

Tickets can be bought for £65 from https://bookwhen.com/safenetdomesticabuse
