SafeNet’s Lancaster refuge was welcomed to cut the ribbon for the relaunch of Dunelm’s Lancaster store.
This partnership between the two organisations was developed as part of the ‘Delivering Joy’, scheme, developed by Dunelm four years ago. The scheme aims to bring festive joy to communities, who might otherwise go without, by providing collection points for donated gifts.
Last year the residents at the Safenet Lancaster refuge welcomed the kindness at Christmas when presents were donated to the refuge. In 2022, Dunelm delivered over 62,000 presents to people in need of support. Their 2023 present-giving scheme has opened and Dunelm are encouraging people to ‘buy a gift, make a gift or donate decorations’.
